WHA Group Warehouses Designs by Taking Demands and Usage of Industrial Customers into Consideration
WHA Group, Thailand’s leader in fully integrated logistics and industrial facilities, WHA’s building standards for logistics distribution center, warehouses, and factories are as follow:
1.One continuous metal roof sheet
A single metal sheet is used to ensure there are no connections on the metal sheet roofing which are a major source of leaks.
2. Air gap roof insulation
Insulation is installed beneath the roofing to create an air gap which acts as another layer of insulation. Therefore, WHA logistics warehouses will have lower inside temperature than other general warehouses.
3.Natural ventilation
WHA warehouses are designed to have metal sheet louvers with bird screens around the building. The roof jacks in the middle of the warehouses are installed at a higher level than those in regular warehouses in order to maximize wind flow.
4.GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
WHA logistic warehouses, distribution centers, and factories are well-designed to comply with GMP practice in terms of hygiene standards, minimized dust accumulation, prevention of interference from termites, birds or insects.
5.Burnished floor
High strength concrete and new burnished floor technique are used to treat the surface of the floor. With super flat floor, the floor is more durable for heavy duty use and able to minimize dust and cracks that may occur in case of high traffic usage.
6.Special Heat Treatment Floor Finish (Mirror Floor Finish)
Special concrete is used instead of normal concrete. The new quality heat treatment is applied to the mirror surface of the floor, resulting in high abrasive resistance which makes the floor more durable for heavy duty use and also minimizes cracks that may occur in case of high traffic usage.
